  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • ½ cup honey

  • ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips

  • Shape Cookies: Scoop dough into 1 ½-inch balls. Place on baking sheet, leaving an inch of space around each. Flatten slightly.

  • Bake: Bake for 9–10 minutes, until edges are golden and tops are set.
