Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (18.25 ounce) family-sized packages Oreo cookies (96 cookies)
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1⁄3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)
- Hot fudge sauce for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Whipped Cream: In a large cold bowl or stand mixer, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form (5-7 minutes).
- Create the Base Layer: Arrange about 30 Oreo cookies in a single layer at the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish, breaking cookies as needed to fill gaps.
- Begin Layering: Spread 1/3 of the whipped cream mixture evenly over the Oreo layer.
- Continue Building: Add another layer of Oreos, followed by more whipped cream. Repeat the process, finishing with cream on top.
- Chill Thoroughly: Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Final Touch: Before serving, crush remaining Oreos and sprinkle over the top layer.
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
